Ⅳ. Legend of Hibiscus

Once there was a beautiful village called Hibiscus. It was a village where flowers were in full bloom in summer and when the wind blew, the scent of flowers was scattered, and in autumn, trees were colored with pretty autumn leaves, and many delicious fruits were held.

The villagers were very peaceful and generous, so they did not pick up things that fell on the road recklessly, and left the doors wide open from house to house even in the middle of the night.

There lived a good-hearted lady with a very beautiful smile in the village, and her face was as colorful and glossy as a "Hibiscus" flower that bloomed gracefully and beautifully at the entrance of the village, and everyone called her "Hibiscus Flower Maiden."

It is said that Lee Geum-gyu has helped his parents with farming since he was young and did not hesitate to do bad things. Despite such a hard life, Lady Hibiscus did not lose her beauty and elegance.

According to a legend in the village, there is a treasure in this village, and if you pray for it, one wish will come true, so it was called the "Tears of Yeo Wa Nangnang." It is said to be a treasure made by the change of tears of the female in the Yeo-Ya era.

At this time, the heavenly god tried to make a ring at the tip, but he had a hard time because there was no rare auxiliary material, and the rare auxiliary material that could make the ring was Hibiscus.

When the gods heard that these rare plants only grow in the village of Geumhwagyo, they secretly came to the village of Geumhwagyo and they finally succeeded in making a fleet that night.

The next day, the Jade Emperor offered the Jade Emperor a precious ring of warbler, who was very pleased after eating the warbler and offered him a great prize.

Shin Sun is happy and suddenly thinks, "Why didn't they make more fleet?" And the god suddenly becomes greedy and takes all the gold coins.

(...Shin Sun means A god from a human train oneself, monk, priest)

However, when making the fleet ring, anger reached its peak because the fleet was not properly made due to carelessness, and the god could not contain his anger and released the seal of the disease with an evil trick and caused a disaster of the disease in the Geumhwa Bridge village. The poor villagers who didn't know this at all naturally lost their energy when all of the very elegant and beautiful golden bridges were gone, and to make matters worse, everyone fell ill.

When this terrible disease struck, Lady Hibiscus happened to be in another village working in autumn fields. Afterwards, returning to the village, the girl was astonished at the terrible sight before her eyes. The village became a sea of fire, and everyone, both men and women of all ages, was sick and collapsed.

Lady Hibiscus, who was in despair, recalled the tears of Yeo and Nang-nang, and went to find the treasure of the village. But there was an evil monster guarding the treasure. It was said that in order to find the treasure, it had to be exchanged for an object of similar value to the treasure, but the gold coinage lady, who had nothing in her possession, had no choice but to go looking for the treasure empty-handed.

The evil monster is fascinated by her beautiful beauty after seeing her. So Lady Hibiscus decided to trade her beauty for the tears of a woman and a woman. And the sneaky monster gets paid for Lady Hibiscus's life span of 60 years, and eventually she becomes an old ugly woman.

She saved all the villagers with tears of love, but Mrs. Hibiscus has already used up the last time of her life, and she eventually dies and dies.

Soon after, a very pretty flower began to bloom in front of the tomb where Lady Hibiscus died and was buried. The flower was like her smile when she was alive, and the flower of Hibiscus, which resembles Lady Hibiscus, bloomed over the entire tomb more splendidly.
